Harry Kane wins the 2026 Ballon d'Or

According to several media outlets, Harry Kane has been voted the best player in the world by France Football, a first in his career.

Harry Kane is the new Ballon d'Or winner. According to Terra, RTP Desporto and A Bola, the 33-year-old striker has been named the best player in the world by France Football, a first in his career. The Bayern Munich player also received the Gerd Müller Trophy, awarded to the season's top scorer, reports Terra.

According to UOL Esporte, Kane has had his most prolific year and allows the English to return to the top after 25 years. Trivela notes that the player, often described as one of the best centre-forwards, has finally turned his goals into historic recognition.
