Fenerbahçe parts ways with coach İsmail Kartal
According to Anadolu Ajansı and Ajansspor, the Turkish club has made official the departure of its coach İsmail Kartal, after the defeat against Galatasaray.
Fenerbahçe announced, on 27 October, the end of its collaboration with coach İsmail Kartal, according to Anadolu Ajansı and Ajansspor. The club made the decision official in a statement, the two media outlets report.
According to Ajansspor, this departure follows the 2-1 defeat against Galatasaray. The daily Hürriyet Spor mentions the end of İsmail Kartal's fourth stint at the helm of the team. A Spor indicates that president Aziz Yıldırım went to the Samandıra Can Bartu training centre to inform the players and the technical staff.
The Portuguese daily Record confirms that Kartal is no longer Fenerbahçe's coach. Bola na Rede, which still mentioned an uncertain future, noted that part of the management wanted his departure and the arrival of a foreign coach.
