Emiliano Martinez: France inspires more respect in him than Spain

According to RMC Sport and L'Équipe, goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez said France inspired more respect in him than Spain after the World Cup.

Emiliano Martinez made a surprising admission after the World Cup. According to RMC Sport, the Argentine goalkeeper said: "It was France that inspired the most respect in me," while taking a dig at Spain.

L'Équipe reports similar remarks, quoting Martinez: "France earned more of my respect." The shot-stopper thus says he was more impressed by Les Bleus than by La Roja.
