Giovanni Carnevali, a Juventus executive, expressed his desire to integrate more Italian players into the team. "My idea is to create a bit more Italian identity at Juve," he stated, according to ANSA.

However, he acknowledged that this approach is not simple. "I would like more Italians but it is not easy," he added, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. He also emphasized that the lack of qualification for the Champions League would represent a significant loss, describing this situation as a "bloodbath".

According to Calciomercato.com, Carnevali insisted on the need to insert more Italian elements into the squad, while mentioning the financial consequences of non-participation in the European competition.
