Ajax and Bayern Munich to inaugurate stadium in Nairobi in January

According to Voetbal International, Ajax and Bayern Munich will play a friendly on 5 January at the new Raila Odinga International Stadium in Nairobi, built for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ajax and Bayern Munich will open the new Raila Odinga International Stadium in Nairobi. According to Voetbal International, the two clubs will face each other in a friendly on 5 January at this venue built for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Several Dutch media, including NU.nl, AD and De Telegraaf, also mention this trip by Ajax to Kenya for the stadium's inauguration. The kicker, for its part, headlines the inauguration in Nairobi with the match between Bayern and Ajax. So Foot also announces this friendly fixture between Bayern Munich and Ajax Amsterdam in Kenya in early January.
