Virgil van Dijk could start Sunday's match against Serbia for the Netherlands. According to Voetbal International, manager Xavi Hernández seemed to slip up during Saturday's press conference, suggesting the defender would start.
Xavi usually only reveals his starting lineup an hour and a half before kick-off. When asked, he reportedly reacted with humour, according to Voetbalnieuws. The Dutch media outlet suggests the possibility that Van Dijk will play a special match on Sunday evening.
