Willian calls Arsenal move a big mistake

Former Arsenal winger Willian has said he regretted joining the club, admitting he made a big mistake, according to AS, Trivela and Placar.

Willian has revisited his short spell at Arsenal, which ended after only one season, and admitted he regretted leaving Chelsea. Speaking to AS, the Brazilian forward said he already wanted to leave after three months.

"Things were not as they told me," he confessed, according to Trivela, adding that he made the wrong decision when he swapped Stamford Bridge for the Gunners. Placar quotes him as saying he committed a big mistake during his frustrating 2020 stint with the north London club.
