The Italian women's under-20 team will play for their place in the U20 World Cup final on Wednesday 23 September against Spain. The match will take place at the Sosnowiec Arena at 15 hours and will be broadcast live on Rai Sport, according to the FIGC.

A run marked by the win against South Korea

The Azzurrine qualified by beating South Korea 3-1 in the quarter-finals, according to La Repubblica and la Gazzetta dello Sport. This success earned them a place in the last four, where they will face a Spanish side already encountered at last year's U19 European Championship, the FIGC reports.

A highly anticipated semi-final

The Italy coach and her staff are actively preparing for this clash, which offers a place in the tournament final. Coach Soncin praised his team's run, describing a result that is not the product of chance but of an exceptional journey, according to the FIGC.

Wednesday's match looks set to be decisive for both teams, who dream of reaching the final. Buoyed by their convincing victory, Italy approach the match with confidence, while Spain will seek to confirm their place among the best nations in the competition.
