Spanish football is set to honour the memory of Jesús de Miguel. According to Libertad Digital, the RFEF, LaLiga and Liga F are pushing for a joint tribute to the CD Tenerife player, who died last Tuesday. Matches on the next matchday will feature a ceremony before kick-off and a pause at the ninth minute, in reference to the player's shirt number, reports Placar.
According to Metrópoles, the Spanish federation has announced that the player will be honoured during league matches. Globo, A Bola and Maisfutebol also mention this initiative.
