Scott Parker is reportedly set to become West Ham United's new head coach, with several sources reporting that an agreement is in place to succeed Nuno Espirito Santo, who was dismissed on Tuesday morning.

According to TEAMtalk, Parker has agreed in principle to take the role, with talks over his appointment and contract terms advancing rapidly. The Evening Standard notes that the former West Ham midfielder has experience securing promotion from the Championship.

Sports Mole also reports that West Ham have struck an agreement with a Championship promotion winner, while TuttoMercatoWeb describes Parker as a specialist in promotions, given the club's poor start in the Championship, where they sit eighth after 13 matches.
