Real Madrid are reportedly close to securing Thibaut Courtois' future. According to Estadio Deportivo, the club has intensified contacts with the Belgian goalkeeper to extend his contract by one season, until June 2028. At 34, Courtois is enjoying one of the best moments of his career, being an undisputed starter.
TuttoMercatoWeb also reports that the two parties are advancing towards a renewal until June 30, 2028. Libertad Digital goes further, claiming the deal is done, with Courtois set to stay at least until that date, having turned down more lucrative offers to finish his career at Real Madrid.
Fabrizio Romano, cited by Sports Mole, says Courtois is set to sign a new deal soon. The 34-year-old has made 342 appearances for the club, winning two Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles.
