According to Gazeta Esportiva, which relies on the Spanish press, the English midfielder has allegedly agreed to extend his contract by two additional seasons, thus running until 2031. Placar specifies, based on the newspaper AS, that the current contract, which runs until 2029, would be extended by two years.
