PSG's future stadium: Paris and Poissy in pole position, decision expected before winter
According to several media outlets, Paris Saint-Germain would have narrowed its options for its future stadium to Paris and Poissy, with a preference for the Parc des Princes. A decision would be expected before the end of the year.
Paris Saint-Germain would be on the verge of deciding on its future stadium. According to Foot Mercato, which relies on L'Équipe, the last meetings with Paris, Poissy and Massy would have allowed the club to refine its analysis of the three options. The sports daily evokes a possible final between Paris and Poissy, with a preference for the Parc des Princes.
Two main options
According to So Foot, the club would be faced with a choice between staying at the Parc des Princes or settling in Poissy. Maxifoot indicates that the leaders must record, before winter, their preferential choice between these two sites. The name of Massy, also studied during the meetings, no longer seems to be part of the priority options.
A decision before the end of the year
According to Calcio e Finanza, three zones remain in the running for PSG's new stadium, and the club should make its choice before the end of the year. This deadline is consistent with the leaders' will to decide before winter, as reported by Maxifoot.
The Parc des Princes in a strong position
L'Équipe states that PSG would have a preference for the Parc des Princes, which would suggest that the club would favor a renovation or extension solution of its current stadium rather than a move. However, no official decision has been announced by the club.
