Portugal provisionally suspend Cristiano Ronaldo

According to several German media outlets, the Portuguese Football Federation has provisionally suspended Cristiano Ronaldo and opened disciplinary proceedings.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been provisionally suspended by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), according to several German media outlets. Per Transfermarkt, disciplinary proceedings have been opened against the 41-year-old forward following an incident with coach Jesus.

The suspension is confirmed by Sportschau, Süddeutsche Zeitung, FAZ and n-tv, which also mention a possible risk of sanction. The German media do not specify the duration of this suspension.
