Paolo Zanetti is Udinese's new coach. ANSA and Record report that the coach has been officially appointed to this position, succeeding Kosta Runjaic, as Bola na Rede specifies.

At his press conference presentation, reported by Corriere dello Sport, Zanetti said: "I greatly appreciate mister Runjaic's work, I will not touch too much on his work." He also stated: "With me plays whoever pedals. A lot of work, few words."

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Udinese could change system, moving from 3-5-2 to another organization, with the return of Zaniolo and Davis. Gokhan Inler, head of the technical area, explained to DAZN, cited by TuttoMercatoWeb, that Zanetti's choice is explained by "fire and grit", currently necessary. Udinese's next match will be played against Venezia.
