Olivier Létang suspended for four months after Lille-PSG
The president of LOSC, Olivier Létang, has been suspended for four months by the FFF appeals committee, according to L'Équipe, Foot Mercato and Onze Mondial. RMC Sport, for its part, mentions a six-month suspension.
Olivier Létang, the president of LOSC, has been sanctioned for his behaviour during the Ligue 1 match between Lille and Paris Saint-Germain, played on 28 August and ending in a 2-2 draw. According to L'Équipe, Foot Mercato and Onze Mondial, the appeals committee of the French Football Federation (FFF) has handed down a four-month suspension. RMC Sport, for its part, suggests a six-month ban.
A sanction linked to an outburst
According to Foot Mercato, this decision follows the outburst of the club official against the referees of the match. Onze Mondial specifies that the FFF appeals committee "did not appreciate his attitude at all" after this league game. L'Équipe mentions a "new lapse" by the Lille president towards the refereeing body.
Divergent versions on the duration
The media do not agree on the extent of the sanction. L'Équipe, Foot Mercato and Onze Mondial agree on a four-month suspension, while RMC Sport mentions six months. This discrepancy is not resolved by the case file.
