Portugal could secure qualification for the Nations League quarter-finals as early as Sunday, according to Maisfutebol and Record. The two Portuguese outlets detail the scenarios that would allow the national team to seal its place before the final matchday.
According to Bola na Rede, which mentions the "calculations" to know, the Seleção has "the path open" to confirm its place as soon as the next match. The newspaper's headline specifies that this outcome will depend on group results.
The calculations remain conditional, but a win combined with other results would be enough, according to the sources, to send Portugal to the quarter-finals.
