The meeting between the two teams, counting towards the Nations League, will indeed take place on Sunday. According to The Independent, the Irish players have voted in favour of holding this match, as scheduled.\n\nLe Figaro also reports that the decision was made following an internal vote. The ANSA news agency mentions a protest by the Irish players, but confirms that the game will go ahead nonetheless.\n\nThis match, deemed controversial by some observers, will therefore take place without any change to the schedule, according to ESPN.
