José Mourinho has reacted with his usual wit to the ongoing disciplinary case against Manchester City. The Real Madrid coach, quoted by Voetbal International, said he doubts he will witness the actual punishment for the Premier League giants.

According to Europa Press, Mourinho stated he would have to "have luck to be here" for "when the final sentence arrives" in the case of the English club's financial irregularities, referring to how lengthy the process could be.

In an interview with Italy's Corriere dello Sport, reported by Estadio Deportivo, the Portuguese coach said: "I prefer to laugh a little, I'm in my 60s, with luck I'll still be here when the final sentence arrives." Record also quotes him as saying he "should have the luck to be alive when the verdict comes out."
