According to several media outlets, Manchester United is selling portions of the old Old Trafford pitch for £125.
Manchester United has started selling small pieces of the Old Trafford pitch to supporters, ESPN and Terra report. According to BBC Sport, these portions of turf are being offered for £125.
This initiative comes as the club published its annual financial results, Terra says. According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United announced record revenues of £677 million, while Record reports losses of £50 million. Terra, for its part, mentions a deficit of 477.6 million reais.
