Manchester City could be banned from all European competitions for a period of 7 to 10 years, according to reports. Football365 reports that UEFA are close to announcing such a ban as punishment for nine years of financial rule breaches.

TEAMtalk adds that a leading broadcaster has claimed City could face a ban of up to a decade, with new financial fair play pitfalls emerging. The reports suggest the punishment would exclude City from any European competition.
