Luis Suárez scored against Lens and became Sporting's all-time top scorer in the Champions League, according to multiple Portuguese media.

Luis Suárez made history for Sporting CP. The Colombian forward scored during the team's visit to Lens, a match counting for the second round of the league phase of the Champions League, according to zerozero and Bola na Rede.

With this goal, Suárez became the club's all-time top scorer in the competition, surpassing the previous record held by Gyökeres, as Record reported before the match. Several outlets, including A Bola and Maisfutebol, highlighted the feat.

"It's a huge honor to enter the history of this institution and club," Suárez said, as quoted by Bola na Rede.
