Lionel Messi has expanded his football investments. According to RMC Sport and Le Parisien, the eight-time France Football Ballon d'Or winner has become the owner of a Spanish second-division club.
Foot Mercato reports that Messi officially became the owner of Club Deportivo Eldense on Thursday. The club, currently 19th out of 22 in LaLiga 2, announced the news, according to Terra.
Messi already owns a fourth-division club, as noted by Le Parisien.
