La Roma Femminile started their Women's Champions League campaign with a 0-0 draw away to Leuven, according to Corriere dello Sport and TuttoMercatoWeb. Piovani's side missed the chance to win in stoppage time when Pandini's penalty struck the post.

According to the FIGC, this result marks Italian clubs' first draw in the competition, following Inter's win over Häcken and Juventus's defeat against Benfica. Roma will face FC Barcelone on Tuesday 30 September.
