Jürgen Klopp made his debut as Germany manager on Wednesday evening in Amsterdam against the Netherlands. According to Express, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, with the German goal followed by an equaliser conceded in stoppage time.

The Süddeutsche Zeitung describes it as a late setback, while FAZ speaks of a late goal that spoiled Klopp's dream debut. For Abendzeitung München, citing commentator Patrick Strasser, there were still no ‘wow’ moments, but the team rediscovered football that makes you want to watch, described as ‘Einschaltfußball’.
