João Félix: “My position is second striker”
João Félix has scored his second goal in two matches under Jorge Jesus and insists his preferred role is that of second striker, according to several Portuguese media outlets.
João Félix has scored his second goal in two matches since Jorge Jesus took charge of the Portuguese national team, reports zerozero. On the day after Portugal's win in Norway, the Al-Nassr player explained that he is favoured by a more central role.
“It is my position, not left winger, not anything like that on the line,” said Félix, quoted by Bola na Rede. According to Record, he stated: “This is my position. It is not left winger, it is not on the line, it is there.”
The player also told Maisfutebol that the fact the head coach fields him as a second striker favours him.
