According to RMC Sport, Jhon Duran reportedly told his teammates: "I'm already rich, I don't need to run." Foot Mercato reports the same remarks, described as "wild statements."

The 22-year-old striker, who had scored 12 goals in 29 matches with Aston Villa during the early part of the 2024/2025 season, joined Al-Nassr in the winter of 2025 for €77 million, according to Foot Mercato.
