The French outlet specifies that this presentation comes five days after Kane's triumph at the 2026 Ballon d'Or. Brazilian site Globo also mentions this showcasing of the trophy in front of the Bavarian fans, on the eve of the German classic.

Maxifoot adds that Kane, with 12 appearances and 10 goals in all competitions this season, showed his honour to the crowd. The player then addressed the supporters, reports The Independent, without the British outlet specifying the content of his remarks.

A top-of-the-table clash

This display took place just before Bayern Munich hosted Borussia Dortmund. The Bavarian club welcomed its rival at its ground, the Allianz Arena, for what is billed as a Bundesliga showdown. The two sides met in a highly anticipated match of the German championship.
