Erling Haaland would not stay at Manchester City if the club were relegated from the Premier League, according to Football365 and TEAMtalk. Both outlets report that the striker has made a decision on his future and has no intention of playing for City in the event of relegation.

Arsenal have already taken steps towards signing the Norwegian, the same sources say. Football365 reports that the Gunners have initiated contact for what it calls a mammoth transfer, while TEAMtalk describes the move as a blockbuster signing.

The reports come as City face the possibility of punishment for breaching Premier League rules 114 times, which could result in relegation.
