Franjo Ivanovic announces his return to Benfica after his loan at Lens

According to zerozero and Bola na Rede, Franjo Ivanovic has said he is a Benfica player and will return to the club next summer, after his loan at Lens.

Franjo Ivanovic has spoken about his future in a press conference, according to zerozero and Bola na Rede. The striker, back in the Croatian squad after missing the 2026 World Cup, said he was disappointed by that absence but confirmed his intention to return to Benfica.

"I am very happy, but I am a Benfica player and I am coming back in the summer," he said, as quoted by Bola na Rede. According to Maisfutebol, Ivanovic is "happy" at Lens but warns Benfica: "I am returning next summer."

The player is currently on loan at Lens, and his return to Benfica is scheduled for the end of the season.
