Flamengo criticised the refereeing after their draw against Santos, citing "serious errors", according to Placar.
Flamengo published an official statement criticising the refereeing after their 2-2 draw against Santos, in the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship, according to Placar and Gazeta Esportiva. The club denounced "serious errors" and called for Barreal's sending-off, while contesting the two penalties awarded to Santos.
According to Terra, Flamengo also pointed out a "lack of consistency" from referee Anderson Daronco. Coach Leonardo Jardim said, as quoted by Record: "There is no controversy, there are errors."
Furthermore, the CBF released the VAR analyses regarding Jorginho's sending-off and the penalty, as reported by UOL Esporte and ge. Jorginho, who criticised Daronco's decision, is said to have reached 18 cards with Flamengo, according to UOL.
