Fenerbahce were heavily beaten 6-0 away to Aston Villa in the second round of the UEFA Champions League, according to Turkish media reports.

Following the match, supporters called for coach Ismail Kartal to resign, reports Ajansspor. Sözcü also mentions resignation chants from the away fans.

Kartal spoke after the game. Fotomaç quotes him as saying, "It was a lesson for all of us," while A Spor reports he described the result as "not acceptable."
