Everton's Sherif fined for breaching betting rules

Everton's Martin Sherif has been fined for breaching betting rules, according to BBC Sport and Placar.

Everton forward Martin Sherif has been fined for breaching betting rules. According to Placar, Sherif admitted to placing 61 bets on matches between November 20, 2024, and February 12, 2026.

BBC Sport reports that Sherif was fined for the breach. Mundo Deportivo and So Foot also report the sanction, with Mundo Deportivo describing it as a conviction for the 61 bets.
