Valentijn Driessen, head of football at De Telegraaf, sees a stark contrast between Xavi Hernández and Ronald Koeman at the helm of the Netherlands. According to his column reported by Voetbalprimeur, this contrast is mainly down to the choices of Joey Veerman and Mexx Meerdink.

The journalist believes these two selections reveal the difference between the Spanish coach and his predecessor. He expresses his admiration after the Netherlands' 1-2 win in Serbia, the site reports.
