Gianluigi Donnarumma is being praised by the Italian press after his performance against France. According to Tuttosport, his "strepitosi" (extraordinary) saves once again demonstrated the greatness of the "Ragno Azzurro" (the blue spider), who now has 86 caps.

In his editorial today, Xavier Jacobelli, cited by TuttoMercatoWeb, states that "today, the best goalkeeper in the world is Donnarumma". He recalls that the keeper played his 86th match for the national team against France.

Tuttosport also highlights that France Football excluded Donnarumma from the Top 10 goalkeepers in the running for the Ballon d'Or, a decision the Italian daily seems to contest.
