David Silva is coming out of retirement. According to Maxifoot, the 40-year-old midfielder will return to the pitch, more than three years after announcing his retirement. He has signed with Supreme Sha Tin, a club in Hong Kong, as reported by L'Équipe, Estadio Deportivo, and Calciomercato.com.
Silva, a world champion with Spain at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, had hung up his boots three seasons ago due to a serious knee injury, recalls Estadio Deportivo.
