Corinthians are two months behind on payments for their men's squad's image rights, Globo, UOL Esporte and Gazeta Esportiva report. The club failed to pay the amount due on 20 September, Gazeta Esportiva specifies. This new unpaid amount adds to other debts owed to the players, including leave and bonuses, the same outlet reports.
Terra reports a "serious financial crisis" affecting the club's schedule. The Brazilian daily also recalls the eliminations in the Brazilian Cup and Libertadores, which have worsened the sporting situation.
