Fluminense has been fined by Conmebol following incidents during a Copa Libertadores match against Platense. The exact amount of the fine varies according to the sources.
According to Terra, the fine is 467,000 reais, while Placar reports a fine of 130,000 reais for three breaches of the safety and match operations regulations at the stadium. Metrópoles and Terra both mention a penalty of around 470,000 reais (or 90,000 dollars) for the use of flares in the stands and guided tours on matchday.
Terra adds that Fluminense intends to appeal the financial sanction.
