Benfica defeated Juventus 2-1 in Turin on the opening day of the Women's Champions League league phase, according to TuttoMercatoWeb and Bola na Rede.

Benfica won 2-1 at Juventus in the opening match of the Women's Champions League league phase, according to TuttoMercatoWeb and Bola na Rede. The Portuguese side triumphed in Turin, while Real Madrid drew 1-1 at home to Paris Saint-Germain on the same day, Bola na Rede adds.

ANSA reports that Juventus lost on their debut, with the match played at the Juventus Stadium. RTP Desporto had earlier noted that the match was refereed by Finland's Lina Lehtovaara. Maisfutebol quotes a Benfica source as saying it is very difficult to play on such pitches, without naming the speaker.
