Arteta says Champions League final loss to PSG still hurts

Mikel Arteta has admitted he has not yet recovered from Arsenal's defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, according to several media reports.

Quoted by RMC Sport, the Arsenal coach said: "I still have this poison in my veins." L'Équipe and Onze Mondial report he used the word "scar," with Onze Mondial noting he acknowledged keeping a real scar from that evening.

TuttoMercatoWeb adds that the loss still burns deeply and that Arteta made the comments shortly after signing a contract extension with Arsenal until 2031.
