Andrés Iniesta open to a return to FC Barcelona

Andrés Iniesta, FC Barcelona legend, would like to rejoin the Catalan club. According to So Foot, the former player, now a coach, would be open to this possibility. Maxifoot and Foot Mercato also mention this wish.

A new career

Andrés Iniesta changed roles several years ago to become a coach, reports Foot Mercato. His first position took him to Emirates Club, and he then stayed in the United Arab Emirates. The 2010 world champion is therefore continuing his path in football, but with one idea in mind: returning to Barça.

A wish shared by the media

Maxifoot states that Andrés Iniesta dreams of a return to the Blaugrana. Foot Mercato confirms this desire to come back to the club. So Foot specifies that the former midfielder is not closing the door on such a return. The three media outlets agree on this point, without however providing details on the conditions or the role envisaged.

No reaction from the club

The matter mentions no official response from FC Barcelona. No offer, no contact and no negotiation is mentioned. The information rests solely on the intentions attributed to Andrés Iniesta by the media. No deadline is specified in the sources.
